Terms of Service

Effective Date: 04/04/2026
Last Updated: 04/04/2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyJobs website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Strobe4 LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

2. The Service

Through the Service, homeowners and realtors can create jobs, upload photos, describe work needed, and share jobs with handymen via magic links. Handymen can review job items, submit quotes, and communicate with the job creator. The nature of the service relationship is described in Section 3.

2.1 Accounts and Magic Links

You may access the Service by creating an account or through a magic link. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. If you access the Service via a magic link, these Terms apply to your use from the moment you take a meaningful action (e.g., submitting a quote, sending a message).

2.2 Service Availability

The Service is currently available only in the United States. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.

3. Service Relationship Disclaimer

MyJobs is a communication tool that facilitates job coordination between homeowners/realtors and handymen. MyJobs is not a party to any agreement between users. MyJobs does not employ, endorse, guarantee, or insure any handyman or their work. All service agreements are solely between the job creator and the handyman. Handymen using MyJobs are independent professionals — not employees, agents, or contractors of MyJobs. MyJobs does not control how, when, or where work is performed.

4. Handyman Licensing Disclaimer

MyJobs does not verify the licenses, insurance, certifications, or qualifications of any handyman. Job creators are solely responsible for verifying that their handyman holds all required licenses and insurance for the work being performed. Licensing requirements vary by state and locality.

5. Quotes and Payments

Accepting a quote in MyJobs is a coordination signal — it indicates your intent to proceed with the described scope and pricing. It does not constitute a legally binding contract, purchase order, or payment obligation within the app. Any binding agreement, payment terms, or warranty is solely between you and the handyman, arranged outside of MyJobs. MyJobs does not facilitate, mediate, or guarantee any financial transaction.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, descriptions, messages, and other materials ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant MyJobs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, compress, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Content Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to upload and share Your Content.
  • Your Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Your Content is related to job coordination and does not contain illegal, harassing, or inappropriate material.

6.3 Photo Processing

All photos uploaded to the Service are automatically processed to strip EXIF metadata (including GPS coordinates and camera information) before storage. Photos are resized and compressed for optimal delivery.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than coordinating home repair and maintenance work.
  • Upload illegal content, harassing messages, or content unrelated to job coordination.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Send unsolicited invitations or use the invitation system to spam handymen. Invitations are limited to 10 per handyman per day.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violations of these Terms.

8. Content Moderation

Users may report inappropriate content using the report button available on every message and photo. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may also block other users to prevent further communication on shared jobs.

9. DMCA Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent at legal@proximing.com. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service.
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

9.2 Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@proximing.com including:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location on the Service.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Strobe4 LLC may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, TRUTHFULNESS, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT POSTED BY USERS, INCLUDING JOB DESCRIPTIONS, PHOTOS, QUOTES, OR MESSAGES.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STROBE4 LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE;
  • ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE, OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT;
  • ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE;
  • ANY WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED BY A HANDYMAN OR CLIENT;
  • UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR DATA.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Strobe4 LLC and its officers, directors, members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service;
  • Your Content;
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity;
  • Any dispute between you and a client or handyman regarding work coordinated through the Service.

14. Dispute Resolution — Mandatory Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

14.1 Agreement to Arbitrate

You and Strobe4 LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if the claim qualifies.

14.2 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND STROBE4 LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

14.3 Arbitration Rules

Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Strobe4 LLC will pay all AAA filing fees and arbitration fees for consumer claims.

14.4 Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days of creating your account (or first using the Service via a magic link) by sending written notice to legal@proximing.com. If you opt out, you and Strobe4 LLC agree to resolve disputes in the courts described in Section 15.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If the arbitration agreement in Section 14 is found not to apply to you or your claim, you and Strobe4 LLC agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 6.1, 11–15) shall survive.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion and retention.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send a notification via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Strobe4 LLC regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
